AUTOMOTIVE SALESPERSON

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain excellent relationships with our customers
  • Maintain strong knowledge base of all vehicle makes and models
  • Follow up on all sales leads from a variety of sources (phone, walk-ins, internet, referrals, BDC appointments, equity mining, etc.)
  • Work with sales managers to ensure individual and department sales goals are met

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in the automotive industry and sales license preferred, but not required
  • Superior communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent follow-through skills
  • Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude

SERVICE PORTER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks
  • Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags before returning the completed vehicle to the customer
  • Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately
  • Perform deliveries as required
  • Wash and clean vehicles before returning to customer
  • Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed
  • Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
  • Assisting with customer deliveries
  • Building and grounds maintenance as needed
  • Other functions and special projects may be assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass DMV check, background check, and drug screening
  • Ability to handle machinery safely
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Ability to operate an automobile
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles

SALES PORTER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
  • Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and following dealership display standards.
  • Preparing vehicles for customer delivery
  • Coordinating work with sales team members and management
  • Maintains building and ground as needed
  • Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed
  • Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
  • Assisting with customer deliveries
  • Building and grounds maintenance as needed
